Ubuntu: tsclient, rdesktop NOT IMPLEMENTED: System pointer message 0x7f00
I often connect to my place of employment via RDP as various tasks are much easier to accomplish in the evening as opposed to mid-day when other users are online. To connect, I use tsclient 0.148 and rdesktop 1.4.1. When disconnected from the work server, Windows 2003 Server with SP1, I receive the following error message from tsclient: NOT IMPLEMENTED: System pointer message 0x7f00Simple solution, change the "Protocol" in client from RDP to RDPv5. As far as I can tell, this issue should only affect tsclient users as rdesktop 1.4.1 uses RDPv5 by default.
